This program was written to include God in the American picture. Public school may have to change a word or two if they are held strictly to the no God in school rule, but it would be easy to do. Most of the songs are written to rhymes that children already know the tune to, such as, Mary had a Little Lamb.

Summary of Program------There are 32 speaking parts, but they could be combined for
fewer students if necessary. The parts are rhyming so they
are easy to learn. The program starts with a bare stage and
as the speakers give their parts then a picture is made by
bringing on mountains, trees, flowers, clouds, sky, rocks,
flag pole with flag etc.

(Speakers 1-5 come to the mikes set up on either side of the stage. 1, 3 & 5 at one mike and 2 & 4 at the other mike. That way speaker 2 can be speaking while speaker 3 moves to the mike to get ready etc.)
SPEAKER 1: We often hear that pretty tune
But we have forgotten all too soon
SPEAKER 2: That God has already blessed our land
Blessings have poured out from His hand
SPEAKER 3: Let’s take a few minutes here today
And share with you, if we may
SPEAKER 4: Blessings we have been given
Poured out on our land from heaven.
SPEAKER 5: Our land is beautiful as can be
As the song says from sea to shining sea.
(Speakers 1-5 take their seats and the students stand to sing.)

(Curtains open to a very bare stage. As items are mentioned they will be added to the scenery until you have a completely decorated stage.
