SAMPLE SCRIPT

(Three students enter and go to the mikes.)

STUDENT 1:             Welcome to our PE program

Some think PE is just for fun.

STUDENT 2:             Really we learn lots of good skills

Keeping us healthy without the pills.

STUDENT 3:             So join us in our PE class

You will see that we have a real blast.

(Off stage using the mike the teacher speaks.)

TEACHER:                Students it’s time for your PE

Line up quietly, will you please.

Down the hall quietly we’ll go

Every second grade girl and second grade beau.

(The rest of the students enter in double lines, one line goes left and one line goes right making a square on the outside of the gym, facing the audience.  Leave room to move in because they are going to do exercises.   The three speakers join them and speaker 4 and 5 go to the mikes.)

STUDENT 4:             When we first start to exercise

Stretching our muscles first is very wise.

STUDENT 5:             If we don’t we could get real sore

So we stretch as soon as we get through the door.

(Speakers 4 and 5 go back to their places to exercise.)
